District Welcome

Welcome to our district! We believe that parent participation is key to student success; our new website is designed to provide parents with all the information they need to be active participants in their student’s education. You will find that the site works just as well on mobile devices as it does on a desktop so you can find information on the go.

Safety Study Hall- DOH

DOH Introduces Safety Study Hall

Created by the Department of Health in partnership with the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction and other organizations, the Safety Study Hall is a place to start learning.

Welcome to Centralia School District

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! The new school year is about to begin and there is
positive energy in the air! A new school year brings endless possibilities, renewed energy,
and exciting opportunities for growth, learning, and connection.

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Our teachers, administrators, and
staff are busy preparing classrooms, refining curricula, and equipping facilities to ensure our
students step into inspiring, safe, and welcoming schools and classrooms.

As we begin this new year together, our district remains committed to our vision of
ensuring all students achieve academic and personal excellence. Whether your child is
entering kindergarten, navigating middle school, or preparing for their senior year of high
school, our goal is to challenge, support, and inspire them to reach their fullest potential.

Education is a shared partnership, and we deeply value the collaboration between our
schools, families, and community. You are an important part of your child's success. You
can help your child succeed:

* Make attendance a top priority;
* Ask your child daily what specifically they are learning in class;
* Read with your child and encourage reading for a few minutes daily;
* Encourage your child to do his/her best and to make good decisions;
* Monitor your child's cell phone and social media regularly;
* Call your child's teacher or school with any concerns or questions

Together, we can foster a culture where student learning thrives, achievements are
celebrated, and every child feels valued and empowered to succeed.

Thank you for your continued trust and support. I am proud to serve as your
superintendent.
